ALLEN, Maude Thompson - Putnam

Mrs. Earl J. Allen, died at the home of her mother, here Thursday afternoon March 10. Funeral services were held at Chastain funeral home Saturday afternoon. She was born here September 14, 1882, the daughter of Elkanah and Frances Thompson. She married on October 16, 1909 to Earl J. Allen who survives. Other survivors include the father, the mother, one brother, Earnest Thompson, two neices, Mrs. Lanville Young, and Miss Adarene Thompson, one great neice, Sarah Lea Young, one brother Fred, preceded her in death.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn W for sending this one :)
